Dear Ate Hannah

I have always told you that you will always be my 1st princess and that is true. You were my first-born and though your sister, Isabel is also my princess, I will admit that there is that special something with you. Perhaps it is because I was carrying you during one of the saddest moments of my life and you were the glimmer of hope to me during that time.
Ate, I am seeing a lot of the independent genes in you. You like to go biking on your own, choose your own clothes, decorate your own table. You even prefer your own pillow arrangement and how you want your study table to look.  You dont like the maluluwag na damit as you like to look sexy na agad. You eat a lot and there is no stopping you if you like to eat 2-3 packs of your favorite Bread Pan or drink more milk. Mommy is the strictest amongst all your housemates and I really put my foot down when you insist on something that I believe is no longer necessary. I have to do it Ate as I know your dad and your tita can really spoil you too much. You need to listen while you are small so that when you grow older, you would also listen to others.

I remember when you were little that umiyak ka when I told you the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Bakit kamo? Super awang-awa ka kay Baby Bear – naubusan na ng lugaw tapos nasiraan pa ng upuan! I never thought that you would feel that way pero you have a point. Kawawa nga naman siya. Sabi ko na lang sayo that Mama Bear gave her lugaw to Baby Bear while Papa Bear repaired the broken chair. That calmed you down. But that instance when you shed a tear just because of a story made me realize that you will grow up to be a caring person. Your Pre-Kinder teacher even told me that you have a future on being a teacher.
Namana mo kay Daddy ang super duper mega to the max pagkahilig nya at Jollibee Chicken joy and you can actually eat that ulam for days. You call the gravy, toyo which confused Mama Lola in the beginning. You love chocolates and I honestly blame myself for not taking care of your teeth when you were younger. Ang dami mo ng sirang ngipin. Don’t worry, my dear i will do my best to remedy that.

Love,
Mommy

Dear Isabel

As I watch you sleep tonight, I want you to know that mommy and daddy loves you very much.
At your age now (2 years old, 6 months) you already know how to get what you want and I cant count anymore how many times you have cried this day. From wanting to watch Frozen and Minions and Smurfs for the nth time and for mommy not to leave your side and for Ate Hannah getting your toys.
But I also saw you today try your best to wear your leggings by yourself, open your drink canister on your own, paint and draw a circle, stand your ground against ate, laugh to your heart’s content with mommy and daddy, play by the small pool and just enjoy being a child. Ikaw ang anak kong super lakas ng loob, you can jump in the pool and just wade with arm floaters by your own.
I am sorry Isabel for just letting you cry instead of giving in to your wish. I want you to learn that not all things in life will be given to you. I teach the same thing to Ate Hannah. Your tantrums though not frequent is really bothersome as you can scream at the top of your lungs. Ang lakas pa naman ng boses mo...:-)

A few days ago, I called the house from the office and I heard your “hello” from the other line. I am thrilled with how our conversation went and I am so happy that you can already answer simple questions and express yourself. You even sang a few lines from the song Let It Go to me while on the phone. So adorable! I do not know until when you will continue to be the clingy type but until such time, i will treasure the moments when you would always want mommy within your view.
I often call you “barakita” because of your kalikutan and likes to climb up and down the sofas, the beds, etc. You idolize your ate so much that you always try to follow her when she does something. Kung magpaint sya, you will also paint. If she will play with her Barbie dolls, you will play with her, etc. I know that hindi maiiwasan that the two of you will bicker and fight as you grow older but i really pray to God that the two of you will be super close as the years go by. That the two of you will always care for each other and be best friends for life.
Love,
Mommy

Swimming

My two daughters love swimming so much. In fact, kahit batya lang sa banyo papatulan nila. The two of them enjoy playing with water that they can stay for hours just playing with water. There was a time that they even pretended they are washing their clothes. Mga anak, sayang ang sabon, hehe.

A few years ago, we bought a medium-sized inflatable swimming pool with matching pambomba but I felt like with the 2 kids now bigger kulang na kasi they cant move around freely anymore on it. Naka-dalawa na kaming inflatable pool sa sobrang gusto nilang magswimming. Minsan pa, July joins them especially if sobrang init. Its time to buy a new and bigger one.

Kahit sa beach, enjoy din yung dalawa. I think this is at Camayan beach at Subic for the 7th birthday celebration of Denise. We bought them floaters and kahit malamig ung beach, tuloy pa rin ang swimming. I remember si Juliana ayaw paawat dito though andun lang the whole time near the sand as medyo takot pa to venture sa mas malalim kahit pa may salbabida sya.

Actually, 2nd trip na yan ni Juliana at the beach. Ung first visit is during one of our outings at my former company wherein pwedeng magsama ng family members. I brought Juliana, Ate Cel and July with me. Si Juliana, ayaw malagyan ng buhangin ang paa. It was something very new to her.. hehe

Below are the pictures nung swimming at Amara resort at Bulacan together with Angel and Nathan. Andaming swimming pool dun sa area. Super okay kasi may covered pool so kahit mainit ung sikat ng araw, may bubong.

After almost 6 months of staying here at our new place, we finally tried to use the swimming pool of the clubhouse. At Php30/adult and Php15/child for the homeowners, pwede na. We even invited Ate Jai-jai who is Juliana’s playmate from our previous apartment. It was not a big pool, 3ft hanggang 5ft at the other side but it achieves its purpose of having the kids play at the water and enjoy swimming. Grabe ang lakas ng loob ni Isabel kasi she really enjoy jumping at the water. At one time, hindi ko sya nasalo pero carry pa din, tuloy pa rin ang pag-jump. She is not afraid of the water. Next year, I will enroll her to a swimming class kasi may potential talaga syang maging swimmer. As for Ate, she has not conquered her fear of swimming yet, papunta na rin tayo dun...

Juliana's Moving-Up Day

On the morning of Isabel’s moving-up day, I asked Juliana if she wanted to attend the event at Isabel’s school or if she wanted to go to their dress rehearsal. She answered, dress rehearsal. She really is excited for her performance! Normally, she would want to go to her sister’s school but this time, her performance on her moving-up day is her utmost concern.
Their outfit is a bright colored dress, preferably floral or polka-dots and colorful ribbons for the hair. She already has a dress but when I went to Robinsons, I chanced upon a dress that is on sale which fits the bright dress part so that is what she wore for that day.
She and her classmates danced to the tune of Katy Perry’s Fireworks and she really gave her best on the presentation. She seems so happy and at ease with the group she is in and she is smiling while dancing. I knew because I took a video of the whole performance! I am so proud of our ate! Actually, even at home she would request me to play the video of Fireworks at YouTube so that she can practice her dance. She even wanted to teach Isabel the dance steps for their performance. Ang saya saya lang talaga ng peg nya while dancing. Promise, i will find a way to attach the video of her performance at this blog post.
The program was held at the Tanghalang Pasigueno with Php100 entrance fee per adult charged to us. Libre si Ate Ester as I volunteered her as a nanny watcher at the backstage during the event. The whole family trooped there but hindi lang nakapunta sina Mama Lola and Papa Lolo as may pagawa ng bahay at Binangonan. Ang lamig din sa auditorium and Isabel is at her usual self, roaming around in front and is excited to watch her ate and the other kids perform as well.
For her Explore class (Pre-Kinder), Juliana got the following multiple intelligence awards – Body Smart, Numbers Smart, Word Smart, People Smart and Self-Smart.

Way to go, Ate!

BIKE

The family that bikes together... ay hindi pala pwede. Because, I dont know how to ride a bike, hehe.
But it is a different thing for my daughters. Si Juliana maliit pa lang she really likes to ride bikes na. Eto ung proof:

The pink bike is a gift from my brother while the yellow one we borrowed from Ate Ponggay and the gray bike belongs to Nathan. July bought her first big bike at Marikina but after a few months, sira na agad. Last Christmas of 2013, we decided to buy the 2 girls with brand-new bikes. It is a princess bike for Juliana while it is a Minnie Mouse bike for Isabel. Both love it and they enjoy riding their bikes every afternoon. I was surprised at how quick both girls learned how to bike. For Juliana, she let go of the trainer wheels after only a few weeks. Practice lang talaga.

Hindi naman papahuli si bunso, ang galing na nyang mag-bike! July and I decided to buy her a real bike and she actually pointed it out to us from the toy brochure.

Syempre may isang katao na pinagmanahan nila sa pagba-bike and obviously it’s not me! Bumili rin kasi ng bike...

Isabel's Moving-Up Day

My primary intention why I wanted Isabel to go to school even if she is only 1 year 8 months old last June 2013 is because I want to ease the guilt of spending too little time with her when she was little. I felt like she needs to go out more and experience new things especially since she is always left at home just with the 2 yayas eversince I came out of my maternity leave. With Juliana kasi, I was with her the whole time for almost 8 months as I do not have a regular job then.

So when I saw that one of the big houses at Pasig Greenland will have a playschool, I immediately texted the number and asked if I can enroll Isabel there. They told me that they have a 3-day program which I could check for my child. We immediately set a date to visit the school and it was okay for both me and July because the school is inside a big house and thus so secured. They have a small playground at the lawn which makes it more okay because that means they have an area for the kids to roam around. Plus the fees are reasonable.
I enrolled Isabel at Seedlings school with very little expectations. I want her to interact with other kids, get a feel on what is happening at school, play with her classmates, etc. At the end of the year, she can now speak audibly, has now the right grip for writing, can color drawings with minimal lampas, and can sing and dance to her hearts’ content though sa bahay lang nga. She is still super shy as in she does not want to dance in front during the moving up day and the Christmas celebration but when at home, bigay todo naman ang performance. According to one of the guys at school, okay lang daw kasi we have 16 more years of class presentations to watch. Tama nga naman.
Here is an excerpt from her first trimester narrative report from Teacher Marissa and Teacher Wena:
“Upon arrival, Isabel has learned to put her bag away, easily finding her assigned (labeled) cubby on her own. She then walks back into the classroom and may either take a material out herself or wait for one to be offered to her. She generally begins with a puzzle or Practical Life activity, ofen using a few of them before moving on to another material or area.
We have also started to hear Isabel get excited, babbling and sometime even screeching, when is able to accomplish something. She is particularly fond of the shape sorter, repeating the task two or three times. We now hear her sing along with us too! She has yet to sit and join us for the entirety of our Circle Time but she does participate from a distance. She routinely comes up when her name is sung and puts it up on our attendance chart. She is able to pick out her printed name when it is presented to her with one or two other names. She has lately been interested in cutting. She is learning to hold scissors for proper usage. She has lately begun to show a greater interest in blocks, an area she sometimes interacts with others, tossing the soft blocks in and out of the basket. More often than not, she can be requested to put things away and does so successfully, only requiring minimal assistance. “
And here is excerpt from the year-end report of her teachers :
“Isabel has grown so much over the past nine months. She has begun playing with classmates rather than just next to them. She is, however, very protective of her work/chosen activity and will no longer walk away when another child attempts to join in or take over. She is ready and willing to repeat new words when asked to and responds well to requests.

She now usually joins the class for the entire circle/meeting time. In fact, she is often the first to clean up and get to her name once the apple rings (our call to join together in a group). She actively participates in singing, her voice heard loudly during portions of the songs she knows well. She easily follows the classroom routines, needing only some reminding and very little assistance. “
I’m so proud of you my darling bunso!

KUMON

I am supposed to start enrolling Juliana for Kumon September of 2013 but because of the busyness involved with moving at the new house, etc. I just found the time to bring her to Kumon center again last week of January. I attended the parents’ orientation months before and it got me convinced that Kumon program will be beneficial to Juliana. I enrolled her immediately and she already got her assignments that same day. The nearest center to us is the C. Raymundo branch.

The first thing that she requested from me when we arrived at the center is that she likes her teacher to be a girl. Juliana does not want a male teacher as she got traumatized when she had a strict male gym teacher at another school when I enrolled her there during summer. Goodluck when we finally go to big school on 2015. For the meantime, all her teachers happen to be females so I am not that worried pa.

Kumon has 2 subjects – Mathematics and Reading. Honestly, I wanted Juliana to enroll at Reading as she does not know how to read big words (she can only read limited 3-letter words) at age 5 and I fear she will have a hard time catching up when she goes to big school but I dont want to pressure her so I enrolled her at Mathematics which is her favorite subject. You can't enroll in 2 classes when its just your first time so we really have to choose between the 2 subjects. She told me that she can enroll at the Reading class naman daw when she turns 6.  I am paying Php 1,800/month for her Kumon class.

Actually, Juliana enjoys doing her assignments every day and even though we still struggle at addition and subtraction, i can feel that she is okay with having assignments everyday and that she is learning a lot from her 2x a week session with Teacher Gemma. She can write numbers know more legibly and we time her assignments. It should not take her more than 30 minutes to do the worksheet. I actually look forward on Saturdays when I bring her to the center in the morning but they changed schedules this summer so the class was now at Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Major bummer... No choice but to have Ate Ester bring her to the center as I cant go out of the office all the time.

What i like about the program is that Kumon allows the student to master a lesson first before moving on to the next level. That way, the student will have a better understanding of the lessons and since we just started, the pace is not that difficult though its me that is feeling the pressure when I see her assignments getting harder each week. So far, so good. I intend to continue enrolling her for as long as she is still enjoying it. Actually, Isabel has shown interest to do assignments alongside her Ate Hannah but she can’t sit still for 10 minutes straight. Your turn will come, my darling bunso.

July painted my previous laptop table which now serves as Juliana's study table. We just need to buy her a good chair along side the table.

Our townhouse

I have always wanted to live at a 2-storey townhouse. At Pasig, it is imperative that you have a 2nd floor at the house as you would never know when a similar thing to Ondoy will happen again. At least kapag may 2nd floor, once inabot ng baha ang first floor, may tatakbuhan ka pa. Kapag umabot pa din ng 2nd floor, sa bubong na tayo tatakbo. Which reminds me that I need to buy an inflatable bed soon.

We are already the 2nd owners of the townhouse we have bought and based on the transfer documents, the name of the former owner is Alex and Ofelia Paz. According to the guy who sold the unit to us, they went abroad that is why they are selling the house. Actually, pinagawa nya ung bahay in the sense that pinapintura ang lahat and pinalitan ang toilet bowls. The house looks brand-new. The current owner agreed that we can occupy the house kahit hindi approved ung loan as long as we paid already the downpayment and that we applied already sa bank. Just imagine the smile on my husband's face when he learned of it. Sya ung kating-kati nang magkabahay talaga.

I took a housing loan at Robinsons Bank and July and I has to pay our mortgage for the next 15 years. We have to withdraw all our investments pambayad sa downpayment. But heck, we have a house near July’s work and it is a 20min drive from my office (if walang traffic). It is convenient to both July and I, we are near a park, several groceries, a major hospital, we have choices where we can enroll the kids, we have a celebrity as a neighbour, it was a quiet neighbourhood, the kids can play and take their bikes outside along with the other kids, the guards go on roving every hour, they dont allow just anybody inside the compound, we were able to install landline, we have cable, the bills are all under our name and the address, it has a decent swimming pool and clubhouse, etc. That house really is for us! I honestly enjoy staying now at the house unlike before that i always want to go out.

The unit is 75sqm lot area, 120sqm floor area. It has 3 rooms & 2 T&B at the 2nd floor while another T&B at the 1st floor. There was a maids room but we converted it to a storage area because that room is really small. May storage area rin under the stairs. We visited both SM Home World and Mandaue Foam scouting for furnitures for the new house and nakakabutas talaga ng bulsa. I am often quoting July that we need a few more months before we can recover with the expenses. Funny thing, when we were renting an apartment, super ayaw ni July maglagay ng decors sa dingding kasi ayaw daw nya magbutas. This time around, ayaw pa din nya. Asus.

The parking outside though is not big and since you have units facing each other, parking can really be a hassle especially if you have more than 2 vehicles. For the 1st up to the 15th of each month, we have to park at the other side of our gate or inside the unit’s carport. While during the 16th up to 31st of each month, we can park just in front of our gate. I normally had difficulty looking for parking space during the 1st half of the month so I just park my car inside the gate. According to the memo that I received, this is also the set-up on other subdivisions daw. Carry lang, I have no plans of buying a 2nd car and we just need to park elsewhere if we have houseguests!

Here is the kwento on why/how we finally got the house:

September 15, 2013 – during our project house quest, we went around nearby subdivisions looking for a townhouse for sale. Since we just live near PMG, we asked the guard if they still have vacant units but according to them, sold-out na daw lahat. Fine. We visited another 2 townhouses – Athena at Mercedes and Summerfield at Eusebio. Both townhouses are okay though with their size, feeling ko hindi pa rin kasya ang gamit ko. Ung tipo bang hindi pwedeng sabay ang dalawang tao umakyat ng hagdan kasi hindi kayo kasya.

September 16, 2013 – while searching the internet for the prices of the Athena townhouse, I came across a sulit ad which mentions that they are selling a unit at PMG. I immediately texted the number there and asked if the unit is still available for sale. The one who replied to me is Ms. Vicky Garcia and she told me that there are 2 units available – at Phase 1 with SRP of Php 3.5M and at Phase 2 with SRP of Php 3.9M. The Phase 2 unit is bigger according to her. I asked if i can do a site visit and she told me that we can visit the next day. Below is the screenshot of that sulit ad.

September 17, 2013 – I left the office at lunchtime and met with July to go to the site visit for the townhouse. We visited the 2 units and even though the Phase 2 townhouse is under renovation and much more expensive, it is what July and I felt is much better. The Phase 1 unit though cheaper does not have that homey feel to us. We requested the broker, Ms. Vicky to negotiate the price and to send us a sample computation of the payment terms.

September 18, 2013 – Last price of Php 3.8M and if we want to get the unit, we have to meet with the seller and the broker that week so that we can already give to them our downpayment. According to the broker, there is another buyer interested on the unit. I honestly dont doubt it because even though it is expensive, it is really a townhouse at a prime location.

September 21, 2013 – Goodbye, 380k. We signed the contract to sell and good thing Mama loaned me money to pay for the downpayment. The search is over, we now have a house!

The house blessing happened on October 5 and we moved in October 19. Dapat daw before sunrise, andun na kami kaya madaling araw ang peg namin paglipat. Dapat din daw full moon kaya bilog na bilog ang buwan nung lumipat kami. Mama, Papa, Nanay, Miren and Ate Lerie visited us that day as we have a small salo-salo at the house to celebrate. Ate Ester cooked biko while Ate Cel cooked her famous caldereta.

It is now more than 6 months after we moved in at the house. We have been paying our mortgage for about 4 months already. And boy, were we really glad that we now have a house we can call on our own. God is really good.

A busy 2013!

January 2013 – Juliana’s first march along the church aisle as a flower girl! It was the church wedding of our good friends Odi and Meng and abay ang mga chikiting... They look so pretty. In the picture she is joined here by my inaanak, Jazmynrose and Meng’s niece – Nadia.  Hair and make-up of Juliana is c/o Aiza at Binangonan. She walked down the aisle by herself and both July and I are so proud of her. The church is at Baras, Rizal while reception is at Pililla naman.

March 2013 – Juliana’s Moving-Up day at Faith Academy. We are proud parents and even Mama Lola and Papa Lolo trooped to Cainta to watch the graduation. Nakakatuwa talaga ang mga bata and you will see the effort they have exerted on practicing their performance.

April – Baguio trip

It has been a while since we visited Baguio and I find it fitting that we go there during the summer of 2013. I initially wanted to book a hotel but when Mama opened up the idea of going to Baguio with the rest of the family, a lot of people joined in. We are now 18 – Mama Lola, Miren, Nanay, Ate Lerie, Ate Beb, Ponggay, kambal, Justin, Ate Sally, Jerome, Sarah, Ate Cel, Ate Ester, Isabel, Juliana, July and me! We rented more than half of the special bus of Victory Liner that goes to Baguio which has a reclining seat and CR on board plus tablets that are free to use while on the bus with matching free wifi pa and snacks. The super OC me prepared the itinerary and menu plan for that trip and everybody’s happy naman.

June 2013 – Isabel is going to school! We enrolled her at Seedlings Early Childhood Development Centre at Jenny’s Avenue. At the beginning I just pay monthly dues but sometime August, I decided to enroll her already. The time of the class is 9am to 11:30am, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There were only 6 of them at the school and as expected she is the youngest of them all. Nga lang, she cries if Tita leaves the room as she wants Ate Cel to just stay inside the classroom. The picture below is taken when I was the one who accompanied her at class during her birthday.

July 2013 – Birthday celebration at Viking’s SM Marikina. We have 3 celebrants na libre lang ang kain ng buffet  lunch that day – si Mama, July and Ate Ester. Miren was able to reserve a private room so there were 13 of us including the kids who celebrated that day. Busog lusog grabe!

August 2013

The quest for the elusive house and lot, vacant lot, townhouse begins. We went to Angono, Taytay, Tayuman, Pasig, etc. asking around townhouses to be built, vacant lots and sa Pasig the price is about 12,000/sqm. Pagdating sa Angono/Binangonan, nasa Php 4,500 – Php 6,000/sqm.

September 17, 2013

Our first site visit at our soon-to-be townhouse. Needless to say, both July and I fell in love at our first sight. It was way above our budget but we both felt it was time already to own a house and it was just meant for us. How we came across that house needs to have a separate entry.

October 5, 2013 – The house blessing for our townhouse is scheduled at 11am. I picked-up Father Darwin at San Antonio Abad parish with Miren while July and the rest of the gang waited for us at the house. We bought take-out first from Chowking before going to the church. I had Miren research for the pamahiin on moving to a new house and ayun, we ensured that we will bring in first are the religious articles and we showered coins once the blessing of the whole house is done.

October 6, 2013 – Isabel’s 2nd birthday party at Jollibee Greenmeadows. This time it was a Hello Kitty themed party!

October 19

A big milestone for our family. After more than 5 years of renting our previous apartment – UNIT B, #555 Pacencia Cruz Compound, we finally moved to our new home. And we started moving furnitures, sangkatutak na gamit, etc. for almost 2 weeks. Ang mga regalo nung kasal na nasa binangonan, dinala na sa Pasig. We had Kuya Ding ang Tom clean first, paint and do minor repairs while we have not yet moved in. During the actual move-in, we left the apartment before the sunrise kasi ganon daw dapat. Well, excited kami lahat kaya maaga pa lang nasa PMG na kami.

December 15

Since we had a party for Isabel, syempre hindi pahuhuli – kelangan may party din for Juliana. You guessed it right – Jollibee Greenmeadows again and its another Hello Kitty themed party for us.

December 23

Papa Lolo called me that afternoon and informed me that he is not feeling well. He felt like merong nakadag-an na mabigat sa dibdib nya. He asked me to call Mama and ask kung pauwi na sya. He was having a heart attack na pala that time. Yung patrol ni Doki Dick ang nagdala sa kanya sa Medical Center sa Taytay and he was asked to stay at the ICU that night until the next day.

December 25

It is a Christmas dinner at the hospital for all of us. After listening to mass at the EDSA Shrine, we trooped to Taytay to visit Papa Lolo. Since its Christmas Day, hindi naman mahigpit ang security guards on letting children in. Andun din si Kuya George

December 31 – Our first new year at our new house. I attempted to cook Baked Macaroni, the results turned out well except for the kulang na toppings but hey its the first time so bawi na lang ulit. July cooked barbecue outside and I got to finally talk to my celebrity neighbour. I would have love to have a picture with him pero hindi aligned ang universe because the kids are so afraid of the fireworks and I need to appease them muna. Bonggacious pala ang isa namin kapitbahay dahil sobrang walang sinabi ang fountains and lusis namin ni July sa kanilang splendid fireworks display, hehe.

What happened in 2012?

March 2012 – I enrolled Juliana at the summer program of Parkwood Playschool. According to the owner of the school, she knows if the child is the first-born because the parents usually ask/inquire as early as March and April. If its a second child, the parents will inquire May or June na. J

It was a tough summer school for Juliana as she always cry when she was brought to the school. She does not want her daddy or me to leave her. Pahirapan na iwanan sya. But after some time, she enjoyed school na rin and according to her teachers, she participates in class activities.

June 2012 – I celebrated my birthday by going to an out-of-town trip with my family. We are now 8 on this trip (Mama Lola, Papa Lolo, Miren, Juliana, Isabel, July and I and Ate Cel) and we trooped to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Thank you sa Mabuhay miles as I just paid 5k for our airfare (taxes and infant ticket for Isabel). Nasulit ang miles from the US trips.

We stayed at Microtel Palawan and the hotel surprised me with a cake when I arrived from a trip at the town during my actual birthday! Todo pasyal ang peg ng lahat except when we have to leave Isabel and Ate Cel sa hotel because of Isabel’s fever. We visited the Underground River, Honda Bay, Baker’s Hill, Crocodile Farm, several churches, ate at the popular restaurants, etc.

August 2012 – While on a business trip to Tokyo, I am receiving texts from July that Isabel will be brought to the Medical City ER because of high fever. Nakaka-stress pala if you are away from your child and you receive information such as that. There is nothing you can do but pray and try not to worry. According to the doctor then, singaw ung cause ng lagnat and gave July and Ate Cel medicine for that. A few days after when I arrive, I brought her immediately again sa ER because she is still experiencing high fever plus may kasama ng chills. Upon release of her urinalysis, she has UTI pala and because of her age and sa dami ng bacteria, she has to be confined. Kawawang bata! She has to stay at the hospital for about 3 days and mas mahal pa ang binayaran kong parking fee kesa sa hospital bills as she has a health card.

October 2012 – Happy 1st birthday our dearest 2nd princess! We had her party at Jollibee Greenmeadows again and it was a Barbie-themed party. But the invitation is Winnie the Pooh, hehe...

December 2013 - For Juliana's 4th birthday, we celebrated it at school. We bought cupcakes from Meng and served it at school plus Jollibee food. As for the balloons, all her classmates got character balloons which we bought at Rosario.
